Join us this Friday at 6 PM for a vigil in front of Piikoi Tower to recognize the life lost in our community. Let's come together in support and healing. Everyone is welcome to bring and leave flowers.
ALOHA Homes finally cleared conference committee! It is headed to a final vote by the Hse and Sen.
Mahalo for pushing, raising your voices, and advocating. This is your victory. It's not the beginning, or the end, but it is a landmark on the path to ending the housing shortage.
Our next Pro Housing Pau Hana is next Friday! We're meeting up at @BeerLabHI's University location in Honolulu on Friday, February 3rd. Come join us for drinks and casual discussion with like-minded people about creating affordable neighborhoods! 🤙
Congratulations to @GovJoshGreenMD for launching a new era of "bold action" on housing and making it his "top priority"! In his State of the State address today, he promised $1 billion for housing financing, infrastructure, renovating public housing, and rent subsidies.
Why worry about your age? You get a new one every year.

It’s official: Congress has passed the Inflation Reduction Act! This is a huge victory for the American people: bringing down health care and energy costs, tackling the climate crisis, and cracking down on wealthy tax cheats and freeloading corporations. Woo-hoo!
Aloha! My name is Ian Ross and I was born and raised here in Hawaiʻi. I'm running for State Senate to offer a fresh perspective and real solutions to the problems we are facing. It is time to get to work on housing affordability, our homelessness crisis, and community safety.

@fryry808 On your point about curb curs, I think it is especially important for our kūpuna, people with mobility problems, and parents with strollers. Are there particular areas where you'd like to see them?
@fryry808 I'm a huge fan of quality side walks. Makiki in particular has some really poorly maintained one's. This mostly falls to the County but the states can play an important role too. If elected, I want to make sure that our communities are walkable.
