It’s no secret where my loyalties lie in the Governor’s race, but let me tell you why I’m supporting Governor Larry Rhoden…

He says what he means and does what he says.

He’s a strong conservative and was recognized while in the state Senate for having the most conservative voting record. He’s endorsed by the NRA (the only candidate), and he has a rock solid pro-life voting record.

He’s just a real person. He always asks me how my wife and family are, then takes the time to talk to them when he sees them. We talk just as much about life and other things as we spend on politics.

Most importantly, he’s delivered RESULTS. And he’s done it by building bridges, not by going scorched earth. Legislators trust him to negotiate in good faith and keep good policy at the focus. Any of the other candidates would come into the Governor’s office with half the Legislature ticked off at them… not Governor Rhoden. He has lived up to his civility pledge, and our state is better for it.

Governor Larry Rhoden has impressed me with his leadership, his humanity, and his results- and relationship-driven approach to the job. There’s absolutely no reason to fire him. There’s every reason to give him another four years as our Governor.
