@wspyp8t9jm If I post, next will be- was he beaten- if I show that, next will be- why only this much injury, then next, then next…till when are we going to fall in this trap!
My Father was in the protest yesterday & what he told me truly devastated me.
Police were beating students who were merely standing, who were sitting in a corner peacefully.
Students brought books & flowers with them.
What was ought to be a Celebration of Democracy, it was made into one of the most dreadful day for India.
You are the most vile, most pathetic, most disgusting person @sudhirchaudhary
I always agree to disagree, never hate anyone but you are really a bad person.
You are now labelling innocent students for your propaganda.
Shame on you!
Mr. Prime Minister- We have not asked you to do anything impossible like a Press Conference…
We just want the resignation of an incompetent Education Minister…
#Update
Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka and Gitanjali Ma’am ( Sonam sir’s wife ) are still continuing the sit-in protest at Jantar Mantar
They are right now in front of Kerala House
This peaceful protest is not ending!
Some segments from media have mentioned sporadic use of violence/detentions at Jantar Mantar by Delhi Police.
It is informed that no such incident has taken place and protest is being handled professionally. All are requested not to fall pray to any rumour/ misgivings, and, to assist Delhi Police in maintaining peace and public order at and around the site.
This police officer led the crackdown on unarmed young volunteers and peaceful protesters. Many people were injured, with several reportedly sustaining serious head injuries, while many others were beaten.
The microphone from which Abhijeet was appealing for a peaceful march was broken. The front windshield of the van I was sitting in was also shattered and glass pierced in my hand (luckily I was rescued by a volunteer right before one of them could hit me). They hit others on van brutally.
The van was occupied majorly by women volunteers, including Geetanjali ma'am.
What happened today appeared to be aimed at disrupting a peaceful protest and forcing people to leave the site.
Shame on you Delhi Police. You are worst than criminals. Entire Jantar Mantar & nearby area has lakhs of people watching your brutality.
