Karim Khan KC was the only prosecutor in the world to apply for arrest warrants for the most serious international crimes against Israel’s Prime Minister and Defence Minister before an international court. ICC judges reviewed the evidence and issued them.

He did so after a months-long investigation, and after review by an independent panel of senior external lawyers. The backlash from the US and certain European states was ferocious. I have seen the evidence of it. Despite this he did not back down. He followed his mandate and the evidence.

The allegations came AFTER he had informed states that he would proceed. He gave them the timeline before any allegation was made against him. That is the timeline.

If you want to go down this route, Ken, we can. But be careful about what it reveals because the truth doesn’t help you or your cause.
