The Jella Lepman medal was awarded to Patrick Sullivan (USA) for his extraordinary work for the IBBY REFORMA's Children in Crisis Project supporting migrant children detained in the south western USA. Congratulations!

Patrick Sullivan has played a vital role in the IBBY REFORMA’s Children in Crisis Project since 2015, when the first visit took place to the US Mexico in response to the first wave of hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied minors seeking asylum in the US.
