A young lecturer in my school became Dean a few months ago at just 38.

He defeated about five other lecturers and emerged winner.

A few days later, management received a petition alleging one of his Master’s results was fake.

Investigation confirmed it.

The first Master’s result he used to secure the job was fake. He later got a legitimate Master’s degree and submitted it to cover up the fake one.

Last week, he was sacked.

The petition came from his best friend, the same person who campaigned for him and the only one who knew about the fake result.

When confronted, he simply said, “A result forger cannot be our Dean.”
