A Renaissance man. #DetroitvsEverybody. The 'c' in a 'i' before 'e' world. Your use of neologisms like sapiosexual is underwhelming. โ๏ธ: โ๏ธ ๐: โ๏ธ ๐ : โ๏ธ
@MoribaFo@MrKnowItAll Letโs not tone police the marketplace of ideas. What makes a critique the valid? From the guardians of media literacy to fandom lantern corp. We have a few very well done episodes within a poorly written series. Not enough ring constructs - valid. Too much exposition - valid.
I would loved to see any one of the other ways. You are correct this is not a Green Lantern show so why pretend to be? Why leech off of something anchored. Create your own and then the backlash is dampened.
Here is no different. This same story could have been told a number of different ways, but making a superhero tale with familiar characters the framing is a fun hook.
@MrKnowItAll This is a great theory. IMHO take these 8 episodes make them into 4 and then letโs talk about this in season 1. We didnโt need 8 episodes to confirm Noah was aliens and Kerry killed Hal.
@MrKnowItAll I keep coming back to the car too. We got a ring and a latern, and apparently I have the means to travel to space jail, to a desolate planet and back but letโs drive to the football game. LOL
Yes there was a lot of character writing still waiting for the character development. Exposition? Yes. Season 2 is where they show us everything they wrote about in season 1.
@MrKnowItAll The best part about laterns is that I found you and the community. The laterns was trash. Sorry not sorry. No need for season 2 with an independent contractor with a decommissioned ring a DIY latern Ex Machina into existence with yellow streaks embracing fear. ๐
I canโt wait for yโall to admit it was just a boring detective show. No PEW PEW, no BOOM BOOM. Also no hero. No superpowers. No continuity with the source material. No need for season 2 unless you want to see Noah ride the bench at Nebraska and Maggy blow $300k.
@CritiqueMeThis@kabrieltwt John Stewart didnโt replace Hal in this storyline. The gym teacher Guy Gardner did. John Stewart is the overqualified black guy, now unemployed that embraces fear, with a decommissioned ring and a DIY latern with yellow streaks.
@GrantGreenly Itโs only correct given the setup. I take issue with the setup -John Stewart leaves the season as confused as started it now embracing fear. At least he learned how to fly without sharing with us how he figured it out. I guess there wasnโt enough exposition to fit that in.
Nah not even close. Me and you could have starred in Laterns. No superpowers no rings just two dudes small town Nebraska high school football, fistfights, jailed and blackmailed. Your deflection and non sequitur using Marvel does not save Lanterns.
How about just give me a reason to watch season 2? A detective show, where you solved the mystery by episode 7. Moments of good writing but a lack of story continuity. A story with superheroes but nothing super nor heroic happens. A story about lanterns with no ring constructs
As many times as a woman changes her mind about any given thing. Like Darius Lovehall taught us: today it might be bad timing. So I figure if I asked again, you'd say yes. If not that time, maybe the next time; until the next time became the right time.
@kremebabe89 Weโve talked on the phone a few times and linked up at least 4. Iโm not saying we are soulmates - lol
I am also not a complete stranger being shady with an offer to film and do content
