@johncanzanobft I predicted this years ago. It'll start with something small like Oregon joining the Pac-12 for golf. Then it will expand from there until all west coast B1G and ACC teams leave their conferences in all sports except football, basketball and maybe a couple others.

@SSN_Pac12 @kdamp @JeramiahDickey I think the SEC claims victim and uses it to justify more expansion. The rationale is that the only way to get schools to follow the rules is to have them all under one commissioner. B1G will then claim victim and will expand because they need to keep up with SEC.

I think if 4+ schools leave, the Big 12 will be in position to scoop up a few of the middle tier teams. Perhaps something like this:
