A delegation of 24 @OSCE Ambassadors arrived in Kyiv for a three-day visit to see the OSCE’s work on the ground, highlight the results achieved, and exchange views with authorities, civil society representatives and partners.

In meetings with the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada @r_stefanchuk and MFA @andrii_sybiha they discussed ongoing efforts in the context of Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine, current and future challenges, and the Organization's continued support to Ukraine's long-term democratic and social resilience.

Over the weekend, Russia once again launched a massive missile and drone assault in an attempt to break Ukraine's spirit. It failed. Ukraine stands strong, and international support remains unwavering.

Today, I was pleased to welcome to Kyiv the Ambassadors of the @OSCE Participating States on their visit to Ukraine. Their presence sends an important message: that Russian aggression will not be normalized and Ukraine is not alone.

I briefed Ambassadors on the battlefield situation, Ukraine's peace efforts, and Europe's growing role in advancing a lasting peace. Russia is not winning this war and will not achieve its strategic objectives. This is precisely why the Kremlin continues to escalate terror against civilians. Instead, Moscow must engage in diplomacy and end its war.

We discussed how the OSCE can further strengthen support for Ukraine, expand practical projects on the ground, and continue documenting Russia's crimes to ensure accountability. I also emphasized that the OSCE must remain a principled defender of the Helsinki Final Act and the fundamental principles that Russia continues to violate every single day.

I thank all Permanent Representatives for travelling to Ukraine and the Swiss OSCE Chairmanship for making this important visit possible. Ukraine deeply values this demonstration of solidarity and our shared commitment to restoring a comprehensive and lasting peace.

Support for Ukraine begins with the truth that must be seen firsthand.

I met with a delegation of Permanent Representatives of the @OSCE participating States. I am sincerely grateful that, despite yet another massive russian attack on Kyiv, they came to Ukraine to witness the consequences of russian terror first-hand and reaffirm their solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

I emphasised that international organisations, including the OSCE, are called upon to play a key role in restoring peace to Ukraine. They must develop strong decisions to protect peace, strengthen security, and restore respect for international law.

I underscored that Ukraine’s security is inseparably linked to the security of Europe as a whole and the entire OSCE area. This is why two mutually reinforcing steps are needed today: maximum pressure on the aggressor and the continued strengthening of Ukraine. First and foremost, this means reinforcing our air defence, providing military support, and developing our defence capabilities.

I also called on our partners to continue supporting international efforts to return abducted Ukrainian children, hold russia accountable, use frozen russian assets to compensate for the damage caused, and prevent any attempt to return the aggressor state to international organisations until it ends its aggression and is held accountable for the crimes it has committed.

I further stressed that Ukraine already possesses unique experience in countering modern military threats and is ready to share it with our partners. I am convinced that only by preserving the unity of the democratic world and acting together can we defend our shared values and achieve a just peace.
