@Gargi_108@sundaysarthak@INCIndia Exactly. He is fraud journalist. Infact he is not journalist, he is fake YouTuber precise. When whole world is moving towards biofuel and green energy to reduce carbon emissions then he is claiming ethanol is causing pollution. #Isuppourtethanol
@jayadityaproto@sundaysarthak@INCIndia Yes, I do understand your frustration, but whatever you see on social media is not always true. It's a fake narratives against ethanol. I pray to god for healthy life of yours and your parents. God bless you ๐
@sundaysarthak
This guy is one of the biggest fraud journalist I have ever seen. He intentionally did negative story stating ethanol is sole problem for air pollution in Byrnihat. In reality pollution was already existed even before the start of ethanol plant there.
๐จ Fake News Alert!
โ ๏ธ Social media posts are falsely claiming that petrol pumps across India have installed hoardings cautioning customers against the use of Ethanol Blended Petrol (E20).
#PIBFactCheck
โ Beware! No such hoarding has been displayed at Retail Petrol Outlets.
โ Ethanol Blended Petrol (E20) supplied by Oil Marketing Companies conforms to BIS specifications. Ethanol and petrol are completely miscible, and no separation or layering occurs in fuel meeting prescribed standards.
โ Modern vehicles are equipped with design features and safeguards to prevent water entry into fuel tanks
โ Since the rollout of E20 petrol, NO widespread cases of engine failure or vehicle breakdown attributable to ethanol blending have been reported.
โ Ethanol-blending in India conforms to stringent fuel quality specifications and undergo rigorous testing before deployment.

It has come to our attention that a notice regarding ethanol-blended petrol, purportedly bearing the logos of various Oil Marketing Companies, is circulating on social media. Please note that this is an old, unauthorized message that has been circulating for some time and does not reflect our official communications.
IndianOil supplies fuels strictly in accordance with IS 17021:2018 specifications and all applicable quality standards. E20 fuel is a homogeneous, scientifically validated product specifically designed for safe vehicular use. Although ethanol is naturally hygroscopic, modern vehicles are engineered with sealed fuel systems to prevent water ingress.
The introduction of E20 petrol in India followed extensive testing and validation by automobile manufacturers and industry experts. Since its rollout, there have been no credible reports of engine failures or performance issues directly attributable to ethanol blending. E20 is safe for use in all compatible vehicles.
IndianOil strongly advises customers not to rely on or circulate unverified messages.
#IndianOil #FakeAlert
@BBTheorist He is fraud only. Fake narratives against ethanol. Byrnihat was already a polluted city even before this ethanol plant commissioning. That too ethanol plant is ZLD. A case should be filed against this fraudster.
@S0rcastic@johnny_chettri He is fake journalist. Ethanol factory started operation at the end of 2024. But before that there were reports Byrnihat is very polluted city in India. I don't understand why he is blaming ethanol factory only, and also it is ZLD, which means no zero liquid discharge.
@appurv_gupta One more scientist. Congrats Appurv.
It is common knowledge that the entry of water into the fuel tank is undesirable for any fuel, whether ethanol blended or otherwise. Modern vehicles are equipped with design features and safeguards to prevent water entry into fuel tanks.
@MohiniWealth Sad part is nobody is questioning the oil lobby, who are behind this false narrative against ethanol. I understand there are challenges like option to choose fuel, but that does not mean whole ethanol blending programme is bad.
