@PlantMamaRN We went through this - husband and I took 2 hrs shifts sitting up with her because she would wake the second she hit the bassinet. It lasted weeks 😩😩
@PlantMamaRN I hear you, I was also exclusively pumping in the beginning because of her NICU stay. You’re doing the right thing! slowly weaning is the best way. You’ll regulate sooner than you think! 🤍
@PlantMamaRN Def be careful with pumping on top of feeding! It’s nice to have a freezer stash but it will for sure cause oversupply leading to more engorgement and potentially mastitis down the road! Your supply should regulate soon and then your won’t feel full all the time 🤍
@PlantMamaRN I found in the newborn stage it was best to put the new diaper under them before opening the old one. There was a period of time where she was go through 5 diapers per change 🫠🫠
@PlantMamaRN Just wait until you guys wake up panicked that the baby is in the bed or you think you’re still rocking her lool for me, I had so much anxiety about her falling on the floor? I would always wake up thinking I dropped her on the floor idk
@icu_cna It’s SOOO hard. You don’t get it until you get it… and I’m sorry you get it. I remember the years every drive home. I remember how hard it is dragging yourself in every day just to see your baby. You can do this❤️
Husbands on a work trip for an entire week so of course my baby decides to go from sleeping 7-9hr stretches to one small stretch and then up all night 🫠
@icu_cna Hey I know we don’t know each other but my girl came 7.5weeks early so if you ever need to chat with another premie mom who gets it my DMs are open. Praying for you both❤️❤️
Me postpartum: PPROM, postpartum preeclampsia, breech baby, emergency c section, NICU baby, pancreatitis and cholecystectomy.
Also me: I wanna be pregnant again. 😵💫
@PlantMamaRN Dude I hated being in the car while pregnant, especially the later I got into it. If anything happened to my baby I wouldn’t have forgiven myself and had so many intrusive thoughts about it 😩
