@SsmTwitRocket@_Firehawke_@verge Here’s some examples:
Resident evil racoon city no longer runs because it didn’t receive an update to remove the windows live libraries
Mercenaries 2 no longer runs because they didn’t update the game to not rely on an image in the os which was pulled in windows 10
@SsmTwitRocket@_Firehawke_@verge So your points are ignorant at best and pathetically stupid at worst.
Splinter cell just got a range of library updates to ensure it runs on all hardware.
@_Firehawke_@verge Adding this here since these ignoramuses don’t know a single thing.
Updates bring more than graphics and content
Engine updates
Library updates
Backend updates so your gpu doesn’t destroy the game on launch
Etc
Updates are fundamentally important to keeping a game running.
@_Firehawke_@verge Yeah this is idiotic.
No updates ?
You want to go back to a time when 30% of games were launched broken and they were like oh well it’s broken move on.
DLCs are extra content…
They are good as it adds more to the game
This idiot ignored crimson desert that used
@SsmTwitRocket@_Firehawke_@verge Incorrect.
Updates not only extend the life of the game by adding newer and more efficient libraries plus updating settings to apply to new hardware they also allow for the refinement of the game from everything such as game play to graphics to overall feel case in point crimson.
@JimRyanA7@Pirat_Nation So no you definitely wrong here , steam has some of thee best policies so it’s not a hope but a definite.
You should learn to keep your emotions out of it.
@JimRyanA7@Pirat_Nation Not really
There’s nothing actually wrong with the steam machine.
It’s on par with the price points internationally
It’s a solid entry
Etc
There’s nothing that “stinks “ about it
@platinumrug1@OfficialPCMR@JRPG_me Anyone can afford it.
That’s the point, you pay what you want for it literally.
If you can afford a phone you can afford to game on pc.
Simple as that .
@platinumrug1@OfficialPCMR@JRPG_me You definitely gate keeping you pretending like it’s difficult and expensive when a 12 year old with google and a brain can do it.
