The “Pro-Life” movement is truly the Anti-Choice movement. If they were pro-life, they would fight for affordable healthcare, free access to medical procedures and resources required to safely give birth and care for a newborn. That’s not what they care about. They want control.

A pregnant person should have the choice to get an abortion when and where they want to. There shouldn’t need to be rape or incest. Abortion is not birth control, but if contraception fails (which it often does) a parent should not be forced to carry to term.

A pregnant person’s health is more important than that, but that’s not all. Their career is more important. Their ability to provide is more important. Their already living children are more important.
