A teacher's time is precious. That’s why we've developed a new AI teaching assistant built into iCompute.
Designed to help with planning, progression and pedagogy — all matched to our curriculum and primary computing.
Just ask our TA and it will help you in real time!
🆕 I've just finished iCompute's first set of self-directed Scratch coding tutorials for Year 3 children.
Pupils can work through the activities at their own pace, revisit instructions when needed and build confidence as they create, test and debug their masterpieces!
Years 4, 5 and 6 are next.
✨ Imagine it ✨ Build it ✨ Change the world

I put my postgrad essays through it - written before the advent of AI. Came back 100% AI. It thinks good writing is AI generated.
I told my law undergrad’ son not to fear the Uni’s so-called AI detection and to write well, in proper academic style. If anything gets flagged by them, I (and his lawyer Dad) will be all over them!
What is cheating? Is using tools for learning cheating? A calculator? An abacus?
In the absence of human (knowledgable) oversight, AI isn't good at writing essays. Its rubbish.
As educators we need to lead the way in adapting and embracing AI systems as powerful tools for teaching & learning. Students use of AI to judiciously research, review, draft, gain feedback etc., involves a set of skills that should be taught.

Good fun, and teaches about variables. Enjoy!
AI is already shaping children’s lives, and the government's Curriculum Review confirms that it and digital literacy must be taught properly in Computing.
At iCompute, we already teach:
✅ digital literacy across KS1 and KS2
✅ Artificial Intelligence throughout the primary phase
✅ safe, sensible understanding of AI from an early age
Read my post about what the review says, and what iCompute is already delivering.

@therealmissjo My in-laws are in their 80’s. They now do not go to town because they can’t park their car without using an app. The world, for them, is not enhanced by technology. It has become smaller.
👩🏫 AI is already part of children’s lives. It's vital to teach pupils about both its power & its limits.
At iCompute, we lead the way: the first scheme to teach about & with AI, plus our own AI-powered Computing Teaching Assistant!
