The performance ranking system is better than nothing, but from an in-game performance and comp sci perspective it leaves a lot to be desired.
Weighted scoring, shader complexity, mesh/polygon nuances and asymptotic analysis.
As it is rn it is largely ignored by many players.

If VRC is requiring avatars to be optimized, it should explain how to quickly & easily optimize avatars.
Avatar performance stats should be holistic and weighted, not isolated bottlenecks.
Both fixes would encourage more and better optimization.
