⭐ DFB-EAM transverse cointegration schematic
The @ICT_TWILIGHT project presents an efficient DFB-EAM transverse cointegration schematic featuring a >2µm plated gold heatsink, reducing DFB laser temperature by at least 23°C. This solution is compatible with high-thickness BCB and minimizes thermal crosstalk between PICs and EICs for better performance.
✔The heat sink is based on >2µm plated Au
✔Simulations show a reduction of at least 23°C between DFB lasers with/without heatsink
✔This integration scheme is also compatible with high thickness BCB
✔Thermal crosstalk between EICs and PICs can be reduced
