The “missing Nagas” supposedly went missing in Kangpokpi, yet ANSAM plans to stage a rally from Imphal to Ukhrul, violating the shutdown imposed by Kuki CSOs in protest against the killing of two Kukis in Ukhrul. And ANSAM calls this a peace rally?
@HMOIndia
FIR filed at Kangpokpi PS against WhatsApp channels “Zomi Info,” “Behind the Truth,” and Facebook page “NorthEast Publish” for fabricating Kuki Inpi documents to incite enmity between groups.
@manipur_police You have a chance to act. Do your job.
@shimray2011 If you are sure, please show the proof of land demarcation.NSCN killed morethan thousands kuki people in 2003, they left their villages in ukhrul, senapati, tamenglong districts and scatter in Kangpokpi district. Don't do the same again. @PMOIndia@RijijuOffice
See what Kuki Inpi has to say.
Do they really think it is logical to claim that trucks carrying FCI rice and other essential commodities bound for Ukhrul headquarters, meant primarily for the majority Tangkhul population and others, would be attacked by the Tangkhuls themselves, after being blocked by Kuki groups along the highway to Ukhrul?
The deceitful character of Kuki Inpi has been historically documented time and again. At this point, people can simply ignore what they have to say.
For Kuki Inpi, the art of deception seems perfected, lying straight to the face without hesitation.
While the so-called leaders are trading with Politics of hatred and communal narratives, the common people are suffering to the edge in #Manipur.
In parts of Manipur, the common public paid Rs. 300/- & Rs. 120/- per litre for Petrol & Diesel respectively, leave aside the every second's skyrocketing prices of other essential commodities.
And, the Govt is doing their best to escalate the situation by delaying to secure the hostages, and inability to control the intermittent violence in the state.

During a live televised debate on the ongoing ethnic tensions in Manipur, Julia Singlai made several inflammatory remarks openly directed against the Kuki community. Her statements included: “Let’s go for a final showdown (with Kukis),” “If they win, let them rule Manipur. If we win, let us rule,” and “This time, under any circumstances, let there be no compromise.” The repeated use of confrontation-driven language portrayed the conflict not as a matter for dialogue, but as a battle for domination.
She further stated, “Let’s stop the policy of ex-gratia to the victims,” while also claiming that “the majority of my people will want my suggestion of a final showdown.” Such remarks, broadcast publicly on television, reflect how deeply anti-Kuki hostility and exclusionary rhetoric have entered certain sections of political discourse. The framing of one community as an adversary to be defeated risks inflaming tensions and encouraging further communal polarization.
At a time when Manipur remains fragile and violence-affected, statements calling for a “final showdown” and rejecting compromise can be viewed as irresponsible and potentially provocative. Public figures using media platforms to spread confrontation-based narratives instead of peace and constitutional dialogue raise serious concerns about the normalization of hate-driven rhetoric against the Kuki community.

This is only the tip of the iceberg. There are thousands more like this. Biren Singh allowed more than 6000 weapons to be looted from the state armoury.
