@Arctotherium_ I know you obviously understand these things, just like how you say if Kairo looks like a bear flag it is low probability, or to wait till 10 on large pre-market/ overnight expansion, or small ORG’s.
So the learned lesson for me was to focus on improving and following my system
@Arctotherium_ And sure in some form it’s “regurgitated”, but it isn’t typical influencer goy slop. No influencer speaks of this, the major difference between strategy and system. “When does my model work and when does it not?” “When should I wait till the macro and expect LRLR at 10am”
@Arctotherium_ For me it is not a new learned lesson, but a reinforcement of something I got away from. I learned this in the summer and I slowly drifted from it, I had been measuring success by wins and losses. It was a realization I had that led me back to the standard I set for myself.
@Arctotherium_ Finding satisfaction in how you performed rather than the outcome. When you lose, obviously you won;t be excited, however if you truly followed your system, that loss affords you the opportunity to identify a flaw and better your process.
Your psychology issues are simply unaddressed technical issues in your system.
You feel stressed in a trade because you don’t have a clear rule on when to go breakeven.
You revenge trade because you don’t actually trust your models edge.
You fomo because you don’t know what you’re looking for.
Your emotions are symptoms of a deficiency in your process.
Fix the process
have clear guidelines
and you fix your psychology issues.
