@sorayatokyo Short is great! Too long is obnoxious. I’m guessing the long German names from Xenosaga were M. Takahashi’s idea?
Sorry, for the double question, have you ever heard about the spin off novel of Xenogears: A God Slaying Story?
@TheDavidVinc First game is not good, probably one of the worst RPG on snes. Lots of problems with it. I gave up many times thinking it would get better. I think the first half of the game is not too bad just mid, there’s clearly potential. But mid way through the game become a slog…
@sorayatokyo In a recent interview, the translator of Xenogears told that he tried to tell the developers to tone down the religious elements (Church specifically) Is this true? Did you listen to him (I hope not and ramp up those stuff lol)? Were you also inspired by Evangelion for this?
@sorayatokyo Thank you for your hard work. Writing such massive, detailed story really is a labor of love. I have fond memories of Gears and Saga. I'm sorry for your lost back then. On a different note, would you help in any way for a Xenogears Remake if a project is ever considered?
@J19_Gaming89 Thanks, but deep down I want it to be called Reunion like everyone else. But one better question would be: what would have been a better title for Crisis Core remake instead of Reunion? Remembrance ? Lol
@kevinwthai@Genki_JPN Did they acknowledge that they made a mistake with the remaster of Crisis core, and correct it by renaming the remaster by removing Reunion and use it for the part III of Remake?
@JNavok But talking about mismanagement at Square Enix to unlock its true potential is like talking about retirement financing in France. It’s the same discourse since the beginning of 00’s and it just comes back over and over again, a non ending story. It’s just sad…
@JNavok Yeah, but I don’t see them doing that. They need a Visionary (or a Luminary lol) and I don’t think they have one (or else they would have critical successes and billions made). I have followed SQEX since childhood and the truly remarkable leadership was far and between.
