@AcedeLaForet@LOTrolhello@caesarisattva Well obviously if we exist in a society where we've made up something stupid like gender then there are people that are going to feel like they don't fit into those strict molds.
@AcedeLaForet@LOTrolhello@caesarisattva Like how in the world is boys gravitating towards car toys while girls don't biological/natural? Cars are entirely manmade, there is no such thing in nature.
@AcedeLaForet@LOTrolhello@caesarisattva I just told you that there are multiple things that influence what toys we choose to play with. A parent trying to give their male child "girl toys" isn't going to do much when the child has been told by the rest of the world that they shouldn't play with those things.
@AcedeLaForet@LOTrolhello@caesarisattva Those things affect us, even if we don't notice it. Not to mention that if you stray from this idea it will draw attention, make you feel weird.
@AcedeLaForet@LOTrolhello@caesarisattva I would not call that "naturally". From the moment we are born we are bombarded with the idea that girls play with dolls and boys play with cars. Everything from toy commercials, what your friends of the same gender play with, what toys you're gifted, etc etc.
@napkinx3 I remember that I had an imaginary friend called Jenny (he was a dude bc I didn't know Jenny was a girl name) but I'm pretty sure I only did that cuz I thought kids were supposed to have imaginary friends
@stendhalist While I was googling what people wore during the ottoman empire I found a bunch of interesting photos depicting what various people wore during 1873 on wikipedia
