Shadow Gens does diff the Frontiers stages IMO. The Doom mechanics are all super cool. The levels look amazing and have tons of routes. There's a lot to like. I think it's just the camera and some momentum stuff that doesn't click with me.

Shadow Generations is done. I still have a lot of postgame content to play, but I started Sonic Generations again. After 4 levels, I can say confidently that it isn't just nostalgia. This game is still peak, and I prefer the controls/camera here vs the new games.

Also I can't enter the options menu without crashing! Linux moment, I guess. At least the config file with display options is easy to find.

I played about half of Shadow Generations. I love all the callbacks, and levels look amazing so far. But the movement feels more Frontiers and less like Generations. Not my favorite. I’m curious to see if they changed up Generations movement much, or if it feels like it used to.
