@jci_uniben I also learned the PAUSE model for handling pressure: Pause, Assess facts, Understand consequences, Seek perspective, and Execute. Also, I learned the OODA model: Observe, Orient, Decide, and Act, which provides a structured approach to making sound decisions.
Some things I noted from this session.
Pressure is Inevitable. It doesn't change the situation but the leader involved. As leaders we have the power of choice on how to act when pressure comes.
A simple to-do list can look small until you realize how much mental space it saves.
Trying to remember everything is exhausting.
Having a system is easier.
Sometimes life interrupts your plans.
The important thing is not letting a temporary pause become a permanent stop.
