With CBADcon (Director’s Cut) officially to a close, and my hosting & social batteries depleted, I want to reflect on the last week and just speak from the heart for a moment before I disappear until Monday.

Pre/Post Pandemic, I always felt some sort of way seeing groups of friends get together that I felt I meshed well with, but didn’t necessarily meet the criteria for an invite. I’m older now, I get it—but I definitely felt like I was the problem. I remember deciding before we bought this house that I’d just host my own shindigs from then on out.

Moving forward, we’ve had a few groups of people stay with us for various holidays or birthdays, but this was the first “CBADcon” where all our rooms were filled, people flew in and drove in from both in and out of state, and even got AirBNBs because there were so many guests.

My heart is so full—I love hosting, I love spending time with people I get to see once or twice a year, I love making memories. What an absolute blast. Thank you to everyone for being kind and patient guests with our excited golden retriever, and of course our toddler.

Honestly, Ill never go back after getting this headset. Been using them for years and they are the best headphones I've ever used. There is a lot of extra cord so you aren't pulling on it, but I tied it up so that fits in my setup without getting pulled.
