At Bubuakat Simalainge cultural learning hub in Maileppet, @SUKUMENTAWAI students learnt about the cultural values and benefits of Mentawai’s plant resources such as the Kakainau, which is used in many Mentawai medicines and is often worn to attract the good spirits to the body🪴

In October, @ranuwelum_org and #Talekoi students visited the conservation area of Talekoi forest to plant 74 endemic Kalimantan trees. @ranuwelum_org is committed to #biodiversity restoration and further strengthening the long-term value of the forest.

Last month, @SUKUMENTAWAI had the opportunity to present their #Mentawai film, “Mentawai Souls of the Forest” to an international audience at Green School Bali🌳The film was a collaborative project with the Director/Producer, Joo Peter 🎥
