@g0nZ0__00@JudgesMVP@JomboyMedia So dead set on not just stopping the clock is so wild to me. I get it’s such an ingrained part of the game, at least wait to add time until after the injury is resolved lol
@helmethead__@Mynis_Games What are the arrows used for? I’ve been starching darts for BP and feel like BoFA for bow once I get it will be good. Just TBow?
@Oaknarrow@editti22@CodifyBaseball I understand the rule, I’m saying if you believe there was an attempt made to tag the runner then he from that point, did move more than three feet from the line. The swerve and ultimate sideways dive to the bag looks like more than 3 feet to me. I can’t measure tho lol
@Oaknarrow@editti22@CodifyBaseball It’s a judgement call, if you think an effort was made by Gunnar or not to tag him. If you think the step and movement justified an attempt then he clearly moved more than 3 feet, if not then you’re right, it doesn’t matter. Happened fast and can’t be reviewed. Your art is sweet
@SinCityRoto @NiceTurang @balkwhisperer If he kept traveling in that direction the base would be three feet out of the path, no? So it’s not as cut and dry as “direction of travel + 3 feet”… I think this could have been called, but it’s boarder line
@bportnoe@TalkinBaseball_ If you value 2 extra outs per game over the stats I mentioned earlier that’s okay and I see your point. I haven’t mentioned velocity once as a reason I think he’s better by the way, that’s all you bringing it up.
@bportnoe@TalkinBaseball_ Yeah I would, especially if my team had the worst defense in baseball
Acting like 6-7 innings isn’t the norm I. 2026 is also pretty wild
@bportnoe@TalkinBaseball_ I value the type of pitcher is slightly more than the type of pitcher Sanchez is, defendable by the stats I provided. Ohtani is better than both of them, and that’s ok. We can disagree, Just listen to the podcast 😂
@bportnoe@TalkinBaseball_ I’m not a FIP guy but it seems that the defense has little impact on their performance. And just because we value different things in a starting pitcher doesn’t make it indefensible lol. If he is the most dominant pitcher through 6-7 innings I’m fine with a starter doing that.
@bportnoe@TalkinBaseball_ So you’re saying Ohtani should have won, I could buy that too. Still giving Miz the edge based on the aforementioned stats but I think Sanchez is a fair choice for second or third if you count Ohtani as qualified
