🚽 What Not to Flush Wednesday
This week’s reminder: Bandages and gauze belong in the trash! 🩹
Unlike toilet paper, bandages, gauze, and other first-aid materials aren’t designed to break down when flushed and can contribute to clogged pipes and problems within the wastewater system.
Help keep our pipes clear and our wastewater system running smoothly by throwing first-aid materials in the trash. 🗑️

💧This World Water Week, we’re celebrating the important role water plays in our everyday lives and in building a sustainable future for our communities.
Through our “Water is Life” Student Art Poster Contest, students help bring that message to life by showing what water means to them and reminding us that every drop supports the people, places, and communities around us.
Water connects us. Water sustains us. Water is life.

🚽 What Not to Flush Wednesday
This week’s reminder: Dental floss belongs in the trash! 🦷
While it may seem small and harmless, floss can tangle with other materials after it’s flushed, contributing to clogs and problems within the wastewater system.
A simple rule to remember: Floss it, then toss it! 🗑️
