@ms_a_starr He had a bad tusk injury behind his ear, into his neck. The herd welcomed back their old friend and the team treated his injuries.
Since that foray, he has stayed at the Panda Masuie bomas, enjoying the company of his best friends Moses and Sizi and and the care of the team.
In Jan 2023, Samson the #elephant left Panda Masuie to join a wild herd. The team hadn't seen him until recently when he returned to the boma. They were shocked to see Samson was severely injured but thanks to their exceptional care, he's made a full recovery! 🙌

Heartwarming Reunion ❤️
A dog rescued from the rubble of a destroyed building in a war zone has finally been reunited with his owner.
This little dog was found in the middle of a danger zone and brought under our care. Soon after, we received messages from a lady claiming him —
Just listen…
Amid the horrifying sound of bombs, you can still hear her crying.
A cat trapped somewhere in the darkness, calling for help.
Last night, none of us slept. The bombing was relentless. Our houses were shaking, and all we could think about were the people —

Today our team continued rescue operations in high-risk areas to retrieve cats left behind after evacuations.
📍 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐡 — Before our team arrived, the guardian managed to safely retrieve her cat herself.
Rescued at just a week old by @assamforest and admitted to the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation & Conservation (CWRC) #Assam on 21 Jan 2026, this young rhino is now receiving the care and protection he needs for a second chance at life in the wild.

The #HighSeasTreaty unlocks a new era of ocean conservation. Countries can now begin proposing marine protected areas across the high seas—places where protection could have far-reaching benefits for biodiversity, climate, and communities.
A 29-foot-long female #whaleshark, accidentally entangled in a fishing net off the coast of Veraval #Gujarat on January 8, 2025, was successfully rescued and released in a joint operation by local fishers, @GujForestDept & WTI.
@Geeebs 💔 This is truly sad news ... 🐘 #elephant Craig, Kenya’s beloved super tusker and an icon for elephant lovers around the world, has died at 54 years old of natural causes. 🙏

The community animals are still waiting for us to start their vaccine campaign.
We really, really need to raise the money for the 70 vaccines still waiting for someone to purchase before we can finalise our order of vaccines and non core injections against Chlamydia.
The winter is when these viruses turn into killers. Will you help us, please?
Save a life here, by buying 1 vaccine.
