Our hearts & prayers are with all those impacted by the tragic attack at Heaton Park Synagogue. Such acts of hatred and violence are utterly unacceptable & are in direct opposition to everything we believe in. We stand together in calling for unity, peace & mutual understanding.
Along with all lay people and faith leaders of good will, we pray for a rapid end to the wars and famines around the world and we especially pray for an end to the war on Gaza.
Our sympathy to all Catholics on the death of Pope Francis. He was a man whose work for peace, humility and concern for the poor and the environment made him an influential presence across denominations and faiths. He leaves a powerful legacy for all. May his soul rest in peace.
We were thrilled to host a Health & Wellbeing event at our center, supported by incredible organisations who partnered with us to make it a success. A wonderful day of wellness, connection, and community!

Today we stand together as one community and one Islington on the anniversary of the Finsbury Park terror attack of 19 June 2017.
We remember Makram Ali, a local husband, father and grandfather who lost his life in the attack, and the many people who were injured and harmed.
