@bunsenbernerbmd They’re not even legal here, but my neighbors have set them off frequently the past couple of weeks. My poor Scotchmallow is now afraid to go outside at night. It’s going to take weeks to get her comfortable on night walks again.

@HowtoADHD I think that all I can do is be frank about my experience. I use to work so hard to mirror others & present as ‘normal’. I thought that was the price of companionship. But with therapy, I’ve learned that was one of the many ways I was putting others’ needs above my own.
