I don’t know how many more Black and Brown people have to be killed by police for us to finally get that we cannot reform this. Policing culture can not be reformed. The concept of safety & security must evolve and transform beyond policing. It can’t be reformed.
the fact that the police can just decide your protest is an unlawful assembly and start shooting at you implies we don’t actually have the right to assemble.
