-iPhones have GPS and it tells you when there’s a cop so you can slow down and avoid a speeding ticket
-you could be working 16 hour days in a coal mine in a third world country

There are people who live in wheelchairs. There are kids born with disabilities. No Prom, no Shoulder Presses, no sleepovers with their best friends staying up til 2AM watching Interstellar.

And you’re not SMASHING the gym like a GRATEFUL SAVAGE!? Eating healthy 90% of the time, calling your friends for no reason, booking the trip, CRUSHING IT at work, ASKING for the raise!? Asking out your crush making her your girlfriend then your wife!?

You’re spinning on a sphere in an infinite universe and the fact you’re alive is a 1 in 500 trillion miracle - you’re so lucky it’s absurd and you have nothing to lose :)

If capitalism truly rewarded intelligence and skill, the richest people would be scientists, engineers, and neurosurgeons.

If it rewarded talent, artists, writers, and creators would be at the top.

If it rewarded hard work, cleaners, laborers, and service workers would be wealthy.

But they’re not. So what exactly does capitalism reward?

We’ve reached a point where simply living with dignity feels out of reach for millions of Americans.

Nobody is begging for a private island or a seven-figure lifestyle.

People just want to pay for food without doing mental math at the checkout line.

They want housing that doesn’t swallow 60% of their income.

They want healthcare that doesn’t come with years of debt.

They want enough free time to watch their kids grow up instead of recovering from exhaustion.

These aren’t extravagant dreams.

They’re the foundation of a stable society.

The fact that they’re now treated as unrealistic says everything about the direction the country is heading.

Karen Bass was not only a Castro operative and Communist, but she got elevated to Vice Chair of National Endowment for Democracy, which is the center of soft power operations in the US government. She is not a "DEI mayor." She is extremely powerful at the global stage.

She was actively involved in shaping foreign policy with the Obama administration, especially Africa. Her Ghana visit during the LA wildfires wasn't a vacation, it was part of a Biden delegate to greet Ghana's new President.

She was considered HUD Secretary for the Biden administration. Instead, she nominated the person who would become the actual HHS Secretary - California Attorney General Xavier Becerra.

Now, let me ask you. If a literal Castro operative gets elevated to this stage, what does this imply about the rest of the United States government?

AI is more intuitive than it gets credit for.

The average human doesn't tend to do legitimate reasoning nearly often enough.

Most people just stay in autopilot the majority of the time, opting to defer heavy thinking to people with credentials and titles.

Ayn Rand was right when she wrote these words, and she is still right now.

That is the part too many people refuse to understand.

These systems may use different slogans. They may wave different flags. They may promise different futures. One may speak in the language of nationalism, another in the language of equality, another in the language of compassion, another in the language of revolution.

But underneath the branding, the heart of the thing is the same.

The individual is pushed aside. The family is weakened. Faith is mocked or controlled.

Property becomes conditional. Speech becomes dangerous.

And the State becomes the final authority over your life.

That is collectivism.

It always starts with beautiful promises. Free this, fair that, justice for all, power to the people. But somehow, every time, the people end up with less power and the rulers end up with more.

Why anyone would want this in America is beyond my understanding.

The only explanation that makes sense is that generations have been trained not to recognize the pattern. They were taught to hate capitalism, distrust liberty, and look to government as the answer to every problem. That did not happen by accident.

A free people cannot stay free if they forget what freedom is.

That is why this warning matters.

Rand was not saying these systems are identical in every historical detail. She was saying they all lead back to the same ugly principle, the group over the person, the State over the citizen, the collective over the individual soul.

Different heads.

Same beast.

And once that beast gets inside a nation, it does not leave quietly.

It wants to charge you as much as possible for as little as possible.

It doesn't want to make life better.

Let's talk about why automated monitoring systems, whether ALPR, facial recognition, gait analysis, or other automated, logging systems are worse than just plain video cameras.

CCTV systems, whether recorded or not, are orders of magnitude harder and more resource intensive to extract actionable real-time data or historical data from.

A human analyst needs to monitor or review the tapes.

Contrast that to the always on, automated logging systems.

These can alert in real time and the easily searchable logs can be used for efficient fishing expeditions, trying to FIND victimless activities to harass people over, stalking, and profiling individuals.

Security on these systems is rather leaky, and the data is often available far more broadly than just the installing department/government entity.

No public surveillance is good or desirable, but the automated systems are exponentially more invasive than older camera/recorder systems.
