Epenesa is a solid add to the room, health permitting. Presumably cheap-ish. Wonder if this ties in to JTS missing mandatory camp, or simply an option to add depth to an important position.
I know it would be incredibly out of character for Eagles fans and media, but maybe it's possible they've overrated McKee a bit and it's not a huge story he seems to be running behind Dalton.
Wish nothing but the best for AJ. Hope he gets what he's looking for, though I also won't be surprised if there are headlines in a few years about him not realizing what he had in Philly and/or whether the Eagles should bring him back.
Jalen handled the inevitable AJ questions well. Would've been easy for him to duck. Perhaps would have in previous years. Things took a turn professionally here. If they did personally as well, one hopes they can overcome that on different teams.
Unpopular opinion: Give Payton 11 after the eventual AJ trade. Not fair to saddle another pass-catcher with that baggage. Also, the NDSU vibes would be immaculate.
Some might call this "irony," but that's the opposite of what you expected to happen actually happening. This kind of stuff was always a logical endpoint for making gambling so accessible. It's just destiny and poor taste mixed together.
I understand why they're using gambling site odds to put this story in context. But hopefully they also realize how palpably gross it is. "Let's talk about the guy with the gambling problem by further normalizing gambling!"
Brendan Sorsby has entered a gambling addiction program for sports betting, which could end his college career.
The second paragraph of this story is remarkable.
I'd say most trade talks don't get reported ahead of time (looking at you, Justin Reid reports). Then again, we heard about Grennard for more than a month.
Fully unfounded UDFA takes that I will nonetheless take credit for should they happen.
Wright will have a better career than Stowers.
Weru is the next Mailata, not Uar.
Think my biggest takeaway from last year is just how much infighting was going on. Coaches not on same page. Players upset with one another. Can blame Sirianni for that, surely. But have to reconcile that with the season not truly falling apart, even if it ended poorly.
@eagles_empire For sure. But only time will tell. The draft will always be a game of chance. Majority of guys won't work out, so maximize your chances of getting one who does. FO clearly thinks best way is targeting guys in round 1. Certainly hard to argue with their success of late.
This felt most likely once 2028 got thrown into the ether. I'd hope there's maybe a third next year that can turn into a second, but time will tell. A single first feels a touch light, but leverage is what it is at this point.
The Eagles are expected to get a first round draft pick, most likely in 2028, when they most likely trade AJ Brown to the Patriots after June 1, according to @AdamSchefter
My shadow draft, for posterity.

No OT. Intrigued by Bell, but hit rate after rd 1 isn't great.
