Thankfully I use virtual cards to purchase things online that are good one time. But I do wonder who at High Praises Church is so crooked they would do this?
@SarahisCensored Copyright on the ESV or other. Tell it to only respond with verses from the KJV and it won’t stop because of the copyright Bible publishers put on the Bible.
Oddly, chatGPT is the only one that does this. Claude or Grok will print the ESV or NASB verses.
Yeah. The coughing was the sign.
I am 6 weeks out of CABG x4 (quadruple bypass for the lay person) and my symptoms were mild. No pain, an annoyance at the top of my chest/throat. A bit light headed. But once I started having a productive cough I went to the er (after taking 4 baby aspirin). Having an uncle who had congestive heart failure I knew the cough was also a symptom.
My heart enzymes were normal. For 4 hours until they barely registered positive. Heart cath told the real story so cut on the next day.
Pay attention and know the signs. It doesn’t always feel like an elephant on your chest and my left arm never hurt. Fluid in lungs though could be heart related.
Also, I haven’t needed any antacid since the surgery and have for the past 3 years.
After my quadruple bypass yesterday I have to say, I don’t highly recommend. Diet and exercise would have been much less painful. Targeting those younger than me. Do it now.
There's something quietly profound about the fact that God doesn't wait for us to get our theology perfectly right before He pursues us. He meets people in the middle of their questions, their doubts, their half-formed prayers. That's not a theological compromise — that's grace doing what grace does. Today, wherever you are in your journey, you're not too far off for Him to reach.
@griffingulledge Thanks for posting this. I woke up this morning thinking of doing exactly the same thing instead of me preaching to an empty room to live stream or from my office at home.
Prepping for Hebrews 9:1-14 this week. The earthly tabernacle’s rituals were shadows, but Christ’s sacrifice is the substance. How do you help your church see Jesus as the better priest? Let’s share ideas!
@ProfitsTaken No. Though I’m unverified (cost vs. reward paradigm) I see the point of it and I don’t mind not voting but would rather see the results with no bots so I’m fine not being able to vote.
@DrDavidLAllen This came at a timely moment as I was pondering how much I want to discuss the five views of Hebrews 6:1-8 Sunday since I preach sequentially. My problem is getting into the weeds then ignoring the main thrust of the text itself so thereby lacking application.
@gettymusic One was “Christus Victor (Amen)” since we signed up with churches globally to sing that yesterday for the day of the martyrs. “Ancient Words” since it also deals with martyrs. And “A Mighty Fortress is Our God” to name a few.
@HwsEleutheroi@billroach_ Which schools?
Another one that bugs me is ἀπό as you hear the short English “a” as in apple and then a long O sound at the end. Again, alpha and omicron. (I figured you would like this one since Leighton Flowers pronounces it this way.)
