@YahtzeeCroshaw As one journalist who walked out with his staff to another, respect to you, Nick and the rest of the team. As with us, I think the clean slate will let you guys soar a lot higher.
And as a fan of your work, thank you for all you've created so far. Looking forward to more.
It’s good for Biden to dig the spurs into Ukraine’s reform effort. Corruption burdens many of its institutions. But Russia's fans are trying to block aid by portraying Ukraine as fundamentally corrupt top to bottom, which it’s not. We should be careful not to forget nuance.
But where should we strike that would give us the most bang for our ruble? Oh! How about that one district where a few people still have sympathies toward us, you know, just to make sure they aren't dissuaded
Russia: Hmm, there is a tense standoff approaching about the future of military aid to Ukraine. We should capitalize on this somehow. Oh, I know, let's kill 50 civilians with a missile, that'll make those westoids pause for thought.
I wish I knew who this journalist in Borodyanka was in April 2022 so I could show 'em the cat coordination. Buy then I picked up my own cat and forgot all about it for like a year and a half.
@neil_abrams@stephenWalt Why the fuck does FP publish this rentboy douche? Now I'm embarrased to have been published in FP myself. Come on, FP, get your shit together.
@cryptopunkard@KyivIndependent No, we're going to spend all your money on all the things you mentioned. And there is nothing you can do about it, baby girl.
@Carleone0057452 @KyivIndependent Yes, actually. Their names are, let's say Brad and Nigel, respectively. I'm glad they can write, cuz I can barely string a sentence togwther.
@BDStanley @BDStanley Hi, I'm Igor Kossov, an American reporter who writes for Kyiv Independent in Ukraine - I'm writing a brief feature about the current developments with Poland-Ukraine relations and my friend recommended I talk to you. Do you have time today or tomorrow? Thanks!
@dszeligowski Mr Szeligowski, hi. I'm Igor Kossov, a reporter with Kyiv Independent, doing a feature on this. Do you think you'll have time to chat or exchange messages today or tomorrow? Thank you!
I like reading pro-Russian quislings struggle to make sense of my articles that are a little more complicated and not entirely flattering to an aspect of Ukraine. They can't understand why a newspaper would run a story that doesn't flatter the country it's in. It's actually sad.
