Hey guys! I needed a little time to recover from all the stress, but I wanted to give you an update: YouTube restored my channel’s monetization just one day after I posted my video asking for help.

I genuinely cannot thank you guys enough for supporting me, backing me, sharing my video, and going out of your way to get my situation in front of the right people. I’m so incredibly proud of this community, and I’m beyond grateful to have so many of my friends here for me. ❤️

I’m incredibly lucky to have a platform and community that were able to get my situation seen and resolved so quickly, but this is still happening to far too many smaller creators who don’t have the same reach or platform that I do.

YouTube’s AI-driven flagging systems have been deeply affecting creators since as early as October of last year, and this cannot keep happening. Creators shouldn’t have to rely on going viral or having a large audience just to get a mistake reviewed and corrected.

Please keep liking, sharing, commenting, and boosting posts from creators who are speaking out about this. The more attention we bring to these issues, the harder they are to sweep under the rug.

What will it take for YouTube to actually be human run again? This is happening to too many people falsely & then they are left to rally enough attention for YouTube to do anything. I truly hope they help Pan get this fixed asap, this is extremely unfair & shouldn't be happening

I HAVE AN UPDATE! Not sure exactly when or why, but my monetization on my channel has magically appeared again!! I can’t thank you guys enough for giving this issue the traction it needs to be solved, this whole mess is so frustrating and ITS STILL HAPPENING TO OTHER CREATORS!

YouTube has reportedly demonetized several animators after mistakenly flagging their content as either “generated with AI” or “exclusively for children.”

Kurzgesagt, RebelTaxi and Kiana Mai are among those affected, with RebelTaxi having since regained monetization.

This is getting ridiculous. Stop removing monetization randomly because of your new 'All cartoon content is for babies' AI model. Creators like Pan and other animation channels are some of the most unique and hardest working members of the community. THEY DO NOT MAKE CONTENT CATERED TO KIDS @TeamYouTube
