This leaves out the most important part. They already proved String theory false, but the math is elegant so they keep it around. They also have nuclear technology locked down to prevent the caveman effect. Once people see another person do something they know it's possible and can eventually replicate it. String theory is an elegant distraction to try to put a genie back in the bottle.

Our society needs a complete reset on the fundamentals of male and female relationships. The YOLO approach isn't working. Men and women need to raise their standards up to a covenant bond for life, and accept the realities and responsibilities that come with that understanding. This is the only way. Anything less and it will just get whittled back down to basic animal behavior like it is today.
