2010, the big three Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, Andy was able to manipulate the cap to make it possible to sign all three. It didn't stop there, that also included Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller.

2017, Pat Riley actually openly credited Andy for crunching the numbers that allowed Miami sign James Johnson, Dion Waiters and Kelly Olynyk. It did not stop there, the one the only, floor space Wayne Ellington was resigned and it continues..

2024, around this time is when the league and CBA introduced the revised second apron luxury tax rules, which changed the game. Miami traded for Terry Rozier and kept them at 14 players to avoid hitting the apron and eventually signed Alex Burks when Caleb Martin left.

2026, Giannis Antekokounmpo trade right before the NBA draft. After that move, Miami was within luxury tax territory and still had players to resign and add. Behind the scenes, he was able to navigate around the CBA repeater tax penalty and constructed a creative deal to resign Andrew Wiggins, opted in, $30M but next year his salary is slashed in half. His contract allowed Miami to use their full $16M MLE, which paid off, signed Tim Hardaway Jr. and Klay Thompson using that and still are under the apron and can bring on two more veterans and stay under the apron. Andy Elisburg is the true MVP for the Miami Heat.
