Network coverage in Bristol is terrible with @threeUK right now. It's been patchy for a while but this past month it's fallen off a cliff. On North St, especially, I had 3 bars of 5G at 30Mbps down, which fell to 3 bars of 4G at about 1.2Mbps down. Inexplicable.

Love getting persistent calls from EDF about a smart meter. Have blocked the number but that still doesn't stop them accidentally leaving a call centre background noise voicemail.

Next time I get a call or a letter from EDF asking to install a smart meter, I am going to switch.

@beardedjourno Any insight on what's happening with it? I recall there being a notice to demolish back in January, but nearly a year later and longer since the fire, the pathway adjacent remains closed at huge inconvenience to pedestrians.

@MrSteveBob Worth skipping this one - not a huge update over the 14 Pro Max and Apple have a dreadful track record for first gen changes - in this case the switch to USB C port. It has none of the hardware updates to take advantage of the platform change (e.g. bandwidth and fast charging).

Update re Gaol Ferry Bridge says that it's going to be +3 months on the estimated time, which was already 6-9 months, taking it up to 12 months overall. This means that it won't reopen until end of August at the earliest and, as with all these things, will likely overrun.
