Hey Greg I think I may have come off more “fresh” than I intended to. Like I’ve said in multiple replies, I believed you when you told me you weren’t trolling, and that’s partially why I didn’t want to single out a single person in the way I’ve been feeling.

1. I’d like to say, that just like you, I’ve made the selfish decision of following the Heat for 20 years now. And in that fandom, in that fanaticism, I’ve become, well, a fanatic. That was my choice and my decision alone and I will never regret, like you, making this team a big part of my identity.

2. I refute your statement of accusing you of anything at all. My initial post was about making the choice to not continue believing the guys I’ve believed for years now if, and ONLY IF, I’m being lied to. I don’t accuse you of lying, I don’t know you on a personal level, but from what I’ve seen and heard from you, you seem like a good guy, and it’s why I chose to continued to believe you after you took the time out of your day to speak to me directly and privately yesterday, which I greatly appreciate.

3. I have yet to claim that not only you, but anyone has done anything wrong, but if someone is calling me an idiot, a baby, a crash out, or any other name they like to use on the internet just because they don’t understand that it is 100% possible (not implied) that all of the noise yesterday could be coming off the back of a Pistons fan who claimed to have information(not refuting), then I will explain to them how that could be the case, without directly accusing any of you of malpractice.

4. When you take into account everything, the greater picture of all the things posted on twitter yesterday by people in the local media, things like “get ready to write your stories” basically everything but a 100% confirmation, it’s well within the realm of possibility for people to place a lot of stock in the things being said. I think it’s more than fair to say this is a make or break moment if not for the ones reporting, at the very least their sources.

Lastly, I just wanna once again thank you for your reply, I really appreciate you taking the time of your day. Its never me vs you, its us Heat fans vs them.

It’s called plausible deniability. I don’t want to single out any 1 “reporter” but posting a Mona Lisa and proclaiming June 20th a special day for the Miami Heat, is clear manipulation of facts. You prove my point in your very second sentence in this tweet.
