We are delighted to announce that Eamonn Maxwell has joined the board of Interface.
Many thanks to outgoing board member Dolores Lyne & continuing members Emer Joyce, John Sweeney, Sarah Jane Larkin and Stephen O Callaghan.
Every year we are proud to feature Galway's local art galleries, centres, museums, and organisations in the GIAF Visual Arts Programme. These establishments produce a trail of beautiful, thought-provoking exhibitions across both Galway city and county, all free to the public!
Our most ambitious install TO DATE is underway.. a lot of butterflies in a lot of tummies eek @alannahrobins @ClodaghEmoe #whenweceasetounderstandtheworld opens on Saturday 13/7 at 4pm
Nice surprise to see ‘clearing’ curated by @EamonnMaxwell mentioned in @sundaytimes today. It features a film and paintings made in response to the restoration of woodland @IInagh in Connemara. 🌱💫🙏@artscouncil_ie @ballinaartscent
We warmly welcome today's announcement by @cathmartingreen@DeptCultureIRL of €6 million funding to deliver artist workspaces across the country.
Supporting local authorities to identify & develop workspace opportunities is a key priority for us, so this is hugely encouraging.
https://t.co/091gSlWwAc we are really looking forward to hosting Mohamed Sleiman Labat with Bryan Gerard Duffy at Interface in the coming year... a great article about the fantastic work being done by the Sahrawi people in Algeria
