We seem to have started a sort of book club on the Discord server. Last month it was Crime & Punishment and this one it seems to be Moby Dick. Never mind that most of the titles so far have been related to Limbus Company... I'm sure Eva would be proud of us either way
me ilusione porque pensé que me había llegado una comisión en vgen, pero resulta que la notificación de propuesta no significa que te comisionaron...
lo peor es que necesitaba el dinero y me ilusioné horrible, la vida es una basura
These Japanese indie devs are making a semi-auto strategy game where you pilot a "city-sized super-massive battleship."
- Combat is continuous over a giant map
- Steamroll armies and Kaiju alike
- Ram enemy ships head on
It's called DREADNOUGHT TARTARUS. Would you play this?
The United Kingdom applies the principle of self-determination very selectively in its territories. It invokes this right to justify maintaining sovereignty over the Malvinas Islands and Gibraltar, arguing that the majority of their inhabitants (in both cases, descendants of British settlers) have expressed their desire to remain under British administration. However, when it comes to other regions like Scotland, the British government has refused to allow a unilateral independence referendum, stating that such a right is reserved for former colonies or situations involving clear conditions of oppression.
Another example is the case of the Chagos Archipelago, where the United Kingdom has defended the status quo of the implanted British population, despite the fact that the Chagossians were forcibly expelled decades ago. In this case, the claims of the native people were ignored, clearly illustrating a double standard in the application of the principle. Of course, this changed in 2024, after nearly 40 years of shamefully ignoring the very principle they so ardently defend in the Malvinas. This dishonourable use of the principle is, quite literally, the only defense they have at the United Nations.
And now, you may wonder: who supports them at the UN? Support for the British position in the Malvinas case primarily comes from other colonial powers, such as the United States and France, which may fear that a change in the Malvinas' status could set a precedent affecting their own overseas territories. This solidarity among nations with colonial interests reflects a resistance to the decolonization process promoted by the international community.
If that's the case, why does Argentina have an official document from 1813 from Captain Henry Jones, requesting permission to go to the Islands to hunt sea lions...?
Todos los que afirman que Argentina nunca tuvo población en las Malvinas, sepan que es sencillamente mentira. Hasta 1833 hubo gobernador argentino, asentamientos argentinos y familias argentinas.
Fueron todos expulsados por la fuerza.

Caballos de Quilmes, located in Argentina, is a shelter where they treat and tend to abused and sick horses. They give them a home.
They need help to buy the land they're on. If they don't, 100+ horses will be left with nothing.

No entiendo como se arreglan los ingleses para ignorar los años de ocupación española y posteriormente Argentina con la extensa cantidad de pruebas documentales que existen.
