@OurFavOnlineDoc When I was still part of the Sheeple, as a lawyer in private practice, I asked a Pastor if my first fruit should be the first professional fees I received in January, or all the fees I received for jobs done in January, including those paid later. Guess his response?
@Anuseyi@NCUKCommunity Of all the things to present as an allocution, the defence chose "hello, have mercy because rape of underaged girls is their culture in Nigeria". Honestly, If I were the Judge, that would just piss me off even more.
The idea that every elected politician should automatically get two terms is one of the most damaging myths in Nigerian politics. The average Nigerian lives only about 55 years. 8 years is nearly one-sixth of a person's life. Yet we casually say "Let him/her finish second term".
@PriyeDavid As a Law Student on Extenship, our Principal takes us back 2 Chambers and points out arguments other lawyers made in court that were misconceptions. I learnt a lot frm those sessions & adopted dat pattern wen I started practice. Teaching doesn't have to be original sermons only.
@Morris_Monye The process was not perfect. The Leaders of the Party has acknowledged that. The timing made it much more difficult. Rather than amplifying people like this, We must move past that selection process and concentrate on the votes. A new Nigeria is POssible.
@pertensbola@Wizarab10 The simple reason why these kind of persons living in the UK do not want good governance in Nigeria is so they can continue to enjoy some form of hero worship from poor folks back home whenever they give out stipends. With good governance they loose relevance completely.
@ChidiOdinkalu@TunjiDisu1@PoliceNG Sadly the IGP will do nothing. The Rank and file take their cue from the top. The DPO knows the Commissioner is cut from a similar cloth and will back him, and the Commissioner in turn counts on the backing of the IGP.
@Thyzeek Really? The Jesus that was sold to you and every other Christian in Nigeria was a white, blue eyed, long haired man, who looked nothing like our ancestors.
