Anyway, on this Outlier.
It is better to be called ignorant or “ghoster”, than to lose your hard-earned legal status, careers, & credit scores from a massive legal liability.
Mind you, you have far moreee to lose than the person in Nigeria!
Bypassing identity verification (KYC) systems by pretending to be a US/UK/EU resident while operating from abroad is a criminal computer & identity offense. It is not JUST a "civil issue".
Under 18 U.S. Code § 1028) & the UK (under the Fraud Act 2006), it is classified as Fraud by False Representation/Identity Fraud. You’re intentionally deceiving a third party (the company) for financial gain.
It is a crime!
No one is stopping you from doing it, but be fully aware of what you’re doing!
I can understand the UK's various nations having their own teams for the World Cup. But what really gets me is that there's absolutely zero rhyme or reason to what happens for any particular sport:
@PeterObi Spot on! If you guys don’t see the connection between poor sports management and failure in sports, then I don’t know what to say to y’all man.
He is 38 years old
Holds a B.Eng in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Benin.
He worked in banking (including as Marketing Manager at Abbey Mortgage Bank) before founding his fintech company.
Founded Mo Credits Limited in 2021, focusing on microloans and financial inclusion for underserved Nigerians.
I remember he also runs Crisp Agro Limited, an agribusiness centered on rice production and food security
In 2024, he was appointed Chairman of the Delta State E-Sports Association to promote youth digital skills and gaming.
His father is the firstborn of 11 brothers, many of whom were prominent businessmen or government officials in Delta State.
Morris resigned as Director of Mobilization for the Obidient Movement in late 2025 after reportedly spending over ₦40 million of his own money, citing lack of support and communication from leadership.
He's actively running for the Delta State House of Assembly to represent Aniocha North in 2027
Morris also owns shares in other companies, such as attending VFD Group's AGM as a shareholder.
.
.
I've been following Morris for some years, particularly on twitter/X
And to be honest, it's refreshing to see a fellow Nigerian Youth, put so much attention into the affairs of the state.
Of course, Morris talks about business, tech and even everyday discussions... But I appreciate how he's doing a good job at making people leave the political apathy mindset, and gradually become interested in political conversations, despite the state of the economy.
There are sooo many Nigerian youths out there, that do not have the slightest interest in politics.
But people like Morris Monye, keep gradually restoring the need to actively participate in politics by joining in conversations, voting and doing our political obligations, if we ever need things to change positively.
.
.
Few people are doing this presently and I will find them and bring them to light.
But this post, is about Morris Monye 🎉

‘I like having a local post office, butchers and library as key parts of our country and I don’t want to see them disappear… I just don’t use those local shops.
Kemi needs to learn quickly that Christianity and Christian values do not exist by default in this country. They exist because there are Christians.
You like Christian stuff and you don’t want to see it disappear? Become a Christian, pick up a Bible, read it and follow Jesus.
@Peter4Nigeria@officialABAT NDC is the best option for now, but let’s be honest, there’s something fundamentally flawed about the way they conduct their primaries. Why are the results not out yet??
When I been de small my mama no de allow me play PS with my siblings, she say she want make I de challenge my Gs, na from that day I don know say I go be PSG fan…
The day before NDC Primaries speaking to the people. We went community by community.
Intense grassroots mobilization the likes they’ve never seen before.
