TLDR: When we have vast wealth, the pull of temptation and the opportunity to fall into our vices will be much greater. It might be a good idea to work on ourselves now. Integrity and self-discipline will keep us from becoming the monsters that we're fighting.

When Night Turns to Day
Alive, yet I'm dreaming, or am I awake?
Surrounded by more than I deem I can take.
The fear and the greed, a fatal disease,
The tears and the pleas, afraid of our fate.
We stumble and fall and we bellow in pain,
Learnt to be humble and crawl and to know what is vain.
For how doth one know the true measure of worth?
When shone with the Truth, the real treasure to claim.
The light of the soul and the life of the heart,
Our love has a toll and we pay every part.
A feeling so fervent the loss thou shall weep,
Revealed through the world full of awe and deep dark.
To know what you hold or to value and cherish,
We suffer great throes 'til our flesh comes to perish.
For all that we know is through juxtaposition.
So I'll weather these woes for our hereafter merit.

I thought the binding and loosing meant something like, whatever spiritual progress we make here on earth will be carried over after this world passes away (i.e., echoing into eternity). However, it appears that the original Hebrew terms usually meant something more like prohibiting or permitting.
