BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV enrages MAGA by warning against "propaganda" being spread in the midst of the war and demands that the "suffering" of the victims be shown to the world.
Trump has well and truly met his match...
"In the dramatic circumstances of war, information must guard against the risk of turning into propaganda," Leo wrote on X. "It is every journalist's duty to verify the news, so as not to become a megaphone for power. They must show the suffering that war always brings to populations, which entails showing the face of war and recounting it through the eyes of victims."
The remarks come in the wake of Pope Leo's call for a ceasefire in the Middle East because, as he said, "violence can never lead to the justice, the stability and the peace that peoples are awaiting." He has also referred to Trump's illegal Iran War as "atrocious violence."
The pope's condemnation of war propaganda comes amidst a growing effort by the Trump administration to tamp down on unflattering coverage of the conflict. MAGA FCC Chair Brenda Carr has even floated the possibility of going after the broadcast licenses of networks that run "fake news," which translates to any news that Trump doesn't like. The White House wants no coverage of the death that they're inflicting on innocent men, women, and children in Iran and they want no mention of the military bases that Iran is destroying in return. The pope rejects that idea.
Under Leo's leadership, the Catholic Church has become one of the most stalwart bulwarks against MAGA fascism, with a particular focus on the treatment of migrants and the need for peace. The world is lucky to have him during these dark times.
Please ❤️ and share to thank Pope Leo!

The director of “Mr. Nobody Against Putin” just said this from the stage:
“You lose your country through countless small acts of complicity. When we act complicit when a government murders people on the streets. When oligarchs take over the media and control how we produce and consume it. We all face a moral choice. But even a nobody is more powerful than you think.”
He was talking about Russia.
