@kolesmi96562042@newchickon37491@kreamdonuts_ All black Americans are mixed with white. What’s black here is different from what’s black over there. So yes I agree with you. tyla is whatever you said she is in South Africa, but from a black American pov she just looks like an Indian with minimal African admixture.
@ShalalaShalulu I think some people get stage presence/performance mixed up with dancing. Beyonce would be at the top for stage presence and performance. Since she’s a perfectionist she will do whatever it takes to perfect a choreography but she’s not a natural dancer like Janet or ciara.
Cuz black people only make music that appeals to black people when we’re a minority of the population. You have to cater to the white population if you actually want to become mainstream
@uItraviooIet@yesterdejavu@eusodomita Yada yada yada. I already know about all of this. You don’t need to teach me. Nobody cares about all of that except the Hive. And nobody cares about that Jolene cover except the Hive so if that’s what Beyonce wanted good for her 👍🏾
@yesterdejavu@eusodomita Yeah ive seen the video of her saying that, but she wanted her to make it a big hit like Whitney Houston did to I will always love you. Beyonce didn’t really accomplish that with Jolene.
How is everyone is mourning Dolly Parton, without knowing her stances yet?
Yes, she may have given a donated a lot of money, done a lot of good, helped people out, been loved by many, and been nice to everyone, but:
Did she support Palestine?
Did she support Iran?
Did she support unfettered immigration?
Has she ever condemned white supremacy?
Has she ever denounced her white privilege?
Did she support a woman's right to abortion?
Did she ever pay reparations to Black people despite neither her or them being alive during slavery times?
Did she support Communism?
Did she support Socialism?
Who did she vote for in every election?
it is genuinely mindblowing to me how people are genuinely clueless about why jobs...exist
they act like jobs are just this thing that emerges from the ether
every worker is a consumer every consumer a worker
@igot32bodies@coochnigs This is like blaming locals for not supporting a new restaurant. But the restaurant doesn’t have any signs out or posts on social media.
@igot32bodies@coochnigs That’s nobody’s fault but her. She didn’t even promote it properly so most people weren’t even aware she released the Gift until years later. And she made it very inaccessible by making it a Disney streaming exclusive.
