Yesterday this amazing group of kids spent the day in La Crosse. We broke out of an escape room (I don’t know who was more surprised we actually did it, us or the staff!), made some awe-inspiring glass pieces, ate sooo much pizza, and saw a super fun musical. It was a great day!

Today we had a cheesecake competition. The entries were a white chocolate almond, chocolate peanut butter, and an original New York style. After some hard decisions, our winner was the Original New York by Addy! Way to go!

Have you ever wondered what goes into writing, illustrating, or publishing a book? Mrs. Tambornino, Annabell, and Allison went to see Jarrett J. Krosoczka and find out just that! They even got some books signed. Check out the awesome new dedication when you read his book!
What do you get when you mix fish, robots, and VR? Super excited kids! Today some students visited Discovery World and saw all that and more! The favorite, by far, was the touch pools though, where they could get close and personal with the stingrays.
And the kitchen is officially open! Our baking supplies all arrived today, so Macey took advantage of it and did the first baking project. The smells and tastes were amazing!!
We took in the history of Wisconsin at the Wisconsin Historical Museum today! Our kids learned about many things, including the lumber industry, iron mining, and the fur trade. Since it was so beautiful outside, we also took a quick stop at the capital. It was a great day!
Today was a day full of smells (ask anyone in the building!). We celebrated our first iLEADgiving. Turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, and buns. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the conversations!
These nine ladies had a jam packed day of fun in La Crosse! We toured Western Technical College and learned about some awesome opportunities they have. Since we were so close, we crossed the Mighty Mississippi... https://t.co/eldZ3g1H1B
