"You are undoubtedly one of the most irritating, despicable, vile and disgusting piece of Xeno filth I have ever encountered."
"I've heard worse. Want me to leave?"
"Oh by the Omnissiah, no. You're the sanest person I've talked to in decades."
I really love this scene because the audience can make their own conclusion on whether or not Mighty Eagle actually was just some washed up guy or just playing it up so Red would take matters into his own hands
Movie 2 sadly kinda undoes this in a way
not a fan of the creator but the fact they included birth defects on the baby is p telling that they wanna tell a semi-realistic story about incestual abuse and its negatives (like holy shit the graves family dynamic is gut wrenching)
aren't these the ones whose parents forget about them if they aren't literally sitting in their nests though? like the baby could be dying right off to the side of the nest but momma and dada will be like "idk wtf that thing is since it isn't inside the nest"?
When you get down to a fair amount of mythical creatures were created to just scare kids into not doing stupid shit that would get them killed. For the Qalupalik in Inuit culture it specifically warns kids to stay away from gaps in the ice.
This is an ancient Greek myth type of story. The man gains too much hubris at his attempts to cheat nature and ascend. This displeases the God's and they enact a punishment that will slowly devour him
You could have picked any other song made by human hands and you picked the literal only song on the planet that actually works and gives the scene aura
