The Israeli army has intentionally destroyed part of the water plant infrastructure in the town of Markaba. This is a war crime and an act of genocide. Israel systematically targets civilian infrastructure in Lebanon.

Genocide is defined under Article Il of the 1948 UN Genocide Convention as any act committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group. One of the five acts is “deliberately imposing destructive life conditions.”

Remember that more than 65 towns and villages in Lebanon are still under Israeli occupation and are still undergoing daily illegal civilian home and infrastructure demolition.

The IDF responded to the murder of Palestinians in Tel by attacking, arresting and victimizing the relatives and friends of those murdered. An overnight sweep covered Nablus, Jenin, Qalqilya and Tulkarem; in Tel itself dozens of homes were searched, including the homes of the four Palestinians killed, and some of their relatives were arrested. Over 20 people in total.

This is just the start of what will be a major IDF operation. The number of batallions there has been increased from to 24 battalions, 10 of them reserve, several pulled from Gaza and Lebanon.

The IDF states that it cannot protect the 126 agricultural farms 80-plus outposts created in the last two years with the current amount of troops. This is going to be a war created by, and in the service of the settlers in the West Bank.

Documentation of what happened today in the Palestinian village of Tall: A group of armed Israeli settlers attacked the village. As residents confronted them, one Palestinian man managed to seize a settler's gun.

Now ask yourself: if the settlers had not arrived armed, how could anyone have been killed with their own weapon? None of this would have happened had they not launched the attack in the first place.

The only ones responsible for this tragedy are the settlers who launched the attack and the Israeli army that enabled it.
