STEP 1 should be to cease defending NFA gun registration and to embrace Judge Hendrix’s decision: the $0 is an unconstitutional tax!

Everyone knows the NFA infringes on 2A rights and that imposing registration for a $0 tax is unconstitutional.

DOJ needs to be careful. Stalling GOA’s victory with an appeal could depress gun owner turnout in November, while embracing GOA’s victory would energize the base!

Call the White House (202-456-1111) and tell them to stop their DOJ from appealing Judge Hendrix’s ruling the the. FA is unconstitutional! It will take one minute!

Then, call the Department of Justice and tell newly confirmed US Attorney General Todd Blanche (202-353-1555) to order his employees to stand down and let this historic 2nd Amendment victory remain unchallenged!

We need an Attorney General who recognizes that fact & will not continue to fight GOA & other 2A allies in court.

The ATF has proposed a "rule change" that would essentially clarify that if you're traveling, particularly interstate, and stop to get gas/your car breaks down/etc... and you have an item banned in the state where that stop happens then you shouldn't be arrested for violating said "ban state laws."

Well, the democrats are VERY mad about this. Several Senators (the ones you'd expect), sent a letter [FR Doc # 2026-08916 on the federal register if you want to look it up] to the ATF complaining about it and what is the first reason they say they oppose this new rule?

You can't make this shit up. They claim the ATF doesn't have the power to make rules 🤡

I agree actually with that but this is the first time I can recall democrats saying this (funny how that works). I'll be bookmarking this for future reference when they inevitably call for anti gun "rules" changes in the future.

So in 7 days, as long as the government endorses the ruling and or simply keeps their mouths shut and stays out of the way @palmettoarmory should be legally protected to start moving NFA items as regular firearms...

However, even in that case, they would need to be willing to defend themselves in court, with time, money, and the grace of God, to force the regulatory agencies and perhaps even federal and local government to honor the ruling that was just made from within their own system.

The takeaway?

BREAKING NEWS! In seven days, if not appealed by the government, suppressors, short-barrel rifles, and short-barrel shotguns will no longer be NFA items and can be bought using a Form 4473 like a regular firearm. This only applies to members of VCDL, GOA, NRA, and some other 2A organizations.
